Do you think toys from 35 years ago were less safe then now?
But you know what, we survived. There was a toy called the Water Wiggle, you hooked it to your hose, and it went crazy. But it was made of a plastic cone with yarn hair. If it hit you it would hurt, also if the tube conecting it to the hose would rap around your leg, it would cut off your circulation. Also remember those heavy click clacks. Those were like balls of cement. And remember those wire stakes that held the Slip and Slide together? My friend cut her leg open on one. But we managed to survive. Do you think parents now a days are a little to parinoid about toys? Even playing with cap guns is a big no no know. We all ways had cap guns. What do you think?
I think the Tonka truck my brother hit me with left a scar that I still carry 35 years later! But I survived and yes, I think things are waaaaay out of hand today. WE had fun and frolick, didn't we?
