I've lost my pattern book!?

I didn't note how to make the edges for this unique crocheted block afghan (see picture link below).  As I recall the edging looked like columns.  The original pattern was a light and dark blue.  The book had pictures interspersed with the patterns, and called for Lion [...]]]></description>

Pattern books for a pirate hat and eye patch?

does anyone know of any good pattern books or something that show how to make a good pirate hat and eye patch (mainly the hat, the eye patch I can figure out myself)?

Why do composition books (grade school) always have that marble pattern on them?

The pattern is kindof distracting and almost hypnotizes you when you look at it. Where does it come from?


You can get solid colors, or just ones with regular pictures.  I actually prefer the marble.
